"Deysi, I am so sorry about your experience with Allen. As you know (being a team member yourself for the past month) being a team member of a State Farm agents office, we deal with miscommunication all the time. When replacing a life insurance policy at one office, in this case rewriting it at another, we always ask for the life policy document back so an unsuspecting family member doesn't believe it to be in force, should you not be around to direct them otherwise. It just causes confusion to have a document laying around that isn't alive. It would be like having a Will, getting divorced, changing the Will, and then leaving the original Will with your attorney to figure out which Will is real. That would just confuse things. In this situation because during the conversation the phone was being handed back and forth from you to other individual team members in another State Farm office, and Allen being confused on whom he was talking to you can see how we got confused and concerned for the spread of your private information. Even when it is another State Farm office, when it comes to a clients personal info we guard it heavily, especially when we don't feel like the information is safe to speak about. This is what Allen felt like in this random occurrence. I'm really sorry that he hurt your feelings by being so direct. I apologize again.
